This is "super soft water," a rarity in Japan.
「箕輪の超軟水」をなみなみと湛えた「大浴場」。温泉ではありませんが、水の硬度は9.9。全国トップクラスの軟水を沸かし、かけ流しています。軟水であっても硬度60〜100が一般的ななかで、この数値がどれほどの柔らかさを示すものなのか、ぜひ肌あたりで実感していただけたらと思います。
The large bath is filled to the brim with "Minowa's ultra soft water". Although it is not a hot spring, the water has a hardness of 9.9, one of the highest in the country, and is heated and poured into the baths. While even soft water generally has a hardness of 60 to 100, we hope you will feel the softness of this water on your skin.
飲み水としても口当たりの良い「箕輪の超軟水」は、調理場、レストラン、客室等、館内全ての場所で使用しております。
"Minowa's ultra-soft water," which is also pleasant to the palate as drinking water, is used in all areas of the hotel, including the kitchen, restaurant, and guest rooms.

大浴場には木造りのドライサウナが併設されています。木には輻射熱によって空気をまろやかにする特性があります。壁にもたれたり寝そべったりできるのも、木ならではの魅力です。 サウナ内の温度は80℃。低湿度で、高温でも快適に過ごせる状態を保っております。水風呂は肌あたりのやさしい超軟水。水風呂に入った際に起こる「羽衣」と呼ばれる、体が膜に覆われるような感覚も格別です。

A dry sauna made of wood is attached to the public bath. Wood has the property of mellowing the air by radiant heat. The ability to lean against the wall or lie down is also an attraction unique to wood. The temperature inside the sauna is 80°C. The low humidity keeps the sauna comfortable even at high temperatures. The water bath is ultra soft water that is gentle to the skin. The "feathering" sensation that occurs when bathing in the water bath, in which the body is covered with a membrane, is also exceptional.

「ヨーロピアンスタイルの温水プール。日中は自然光たっぷりで、屋外のような明るさ、夜は間接照明で落ち着いた雰囲気に。水は「箕輪の超軟水」を温水にしています。水深は1m〜1.3mで、水中ウォーキングにもおすすめです。プールサイドにはジェット水圧による刺激で筋肉を心地よくひきしめるジャグジーと、ミストサウナを併設しております。水着＆バスローブでゆっくりお過ごしください。水着はレンタルのご用意もございます。ご宿泊のお客様はもちろん、日帰りでもご利用いただけます。

We have an european-style heated swimming pool. During the day, the pool is filled with natural light, making it as bright as outdoors, and at night, the indirect lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere. The water is heated with "Minowa's ultra soft water. The depth of the water is 1 to 1.3 meters, and is also recommended for underwater walking. The poolside Jacuzzi, which uses water pressure jets to comfortably tighten muscles, and a mist sauna are also available. Please relax in your bathing suit and bathrobe. Swimsuits are available for rent. It is open to both overnight guests and day-trippers.

「空気のビタミン」とも称されるマイナスイオン。その効果は科学的にも証明されています。「イオラ」では大気1㎠あたり約6700個のマイナスイオンを放出させて、お客様をお迎えしております。ちなみに都会はプラスイオンが優位で、マイナスイオンは1㎠あたり800個程度と言われています。プラスイオンは老廃物の停滞や体の酸化、ストレスなどに影響するイオンです。
Negative ions are also known as "air vitamins". Their effects have been scientifically proven. "Iora" welcomes guets by emitting approximately 6700 negative ions per 1㎠ of atmosphere. In urban areas, positive ions are predominant and negative ions are said to be around 800 per square meter. Positive ions are ions that affect waste stagnation, body oxidation, and stress.
お入りいただくのは約40℃に調整されたリラクゼーションルーム。癒しの音楽とアロマの香りに包まれながらストーンベッドに横になって25分間、マイナスイオンをたっぷり浴びていただきます。汗をかくことは「究極のデトックス」と言われますが、マイナスイオンがもたらす効果とともに滞っていた老廃物や余計な水分が排出されるため、むくみもスッキリ。腰痛や肩こりの緩和にも。代謝アップ、血流アップで美肌効果も期待でき、ストレス解消にもつながります。
※イオンセラピー「イオラ」は、岩盤浴ではありません。
You will enter a relaxation room with the temperature adjusted to about 40 degrees Celsius. You will lie on a stone bed for 25 minutes, surrounded by healing music and the scent of aroma, and be bathed in negative ions. Sweating is said to be the "ultimate detoxification," and along with the effects of negative ions, it also clears away swelling as it expels stagnant waste and excess water. It also relieves lower back pain and stiff shoulders. The increased metabolism and blood flow can also be expected to improve the skin's beauty and relieve stress.
*Ion therapy "IOLA" is not a bedrock bath.

After checking in at the “iola” counter, you will receive a towel and exclusive wear.

専用ウエアを持って大浴場へ。お風呂でお体を温め、着替えてお戻りください
事前に入浴することでセラピー効果がより高まりますBring the exclusive wear to the public bath with you. Then take a bath to warm up your body, change your clothes to the wear and come back. Taking a bath in advance enhances the therapeutic effect.
